Name: Memnoch.
Apparent Age: 23.
Actual Age: 23.
Squad: Nibantai.

Eye Color: Steel Blue.
Height: 6'5".
Weight: 130lbs.
Hair Color and Style: Well kept, ink black strands tied together with a white silk ribbon.
Clothing and Accessories: Standard Academy Shihakusho. White with a red trim.
Generalized Appearance: Lithe and nimble, narrow and graceful. All the decadence and sensibility of his noble birthright with a refined and dangerous edge thanks to his Shinigami training. Everything about his person is streamlined for efficiency and ease. His ink black hair is tied with a strip of white silk ribbon. His steel eyes pry with unyielding presence.
Spiritual Pressure Analysis: Despite his rigid outward appearance, on the inside he's soft, timid, and unsure. Fearful, even; he's a long way to go before he can bring the Shimazu name any measure of honor.
Overall Personality: As earlier noted, his outward demeanor is in stark contrast to what's going on beneath the surface. Within, he lacks the force of personality necessary to command much, if any, attention. Meek and unsure of himself, he prefers to stay well out of the way and to not step on any toes. At this stage in his career, it's all about making connections, and one must possess an agreeable personality to be successful in that endeavor. Above all else, he values determination, and efficiency; only with those qualities may he put in the effort and become truly noteworthy.
Positive Traits: Polite, agreeable, friendly, relentless, patient.
Negative Traits: Cowardly, timid, selfish, evasive, insecure.
Loyalties: Primarily, and a direct result of the hate felt by the citizens of Rukongai, would be his (minor) great Shimazu household. With the death of his father at the hands of a dissatisfied mob, which was unfortunately eclipsed by the deaths of those fated Lieutenants, his family is and always will come first. Never again will a Shimazu fall to those so doubtlessly inferior.
Goals: First and foremost, this cursed blade of his must be properly conquered, its secrets and powers revealed. This must be accomplished lest he join the flock like those who came before him. Second, as a member of the Shimazu clan, it would bring prestige and honor to be accepted into the Gotei's Stealth Force. Perhaps, one day, he may rise to be its commander-in-chief. And finally, to become the face of Shinigami Kido as Seireitei’s foremost expert on magical castings would cement his name in Shinigami history.
Habits: A result of his anxiety, the skin around his fingernails is picked at relentlessly. The inside of his lips, chewed at. Surfaces, tapped on nervously by bony fingers.

The Boy
Born to the Shimazu, one of Seireitei’s many minor noble families, he’d grown accustomed to preferential treatment. This privilege wasn't afforded to him for near as long as those who came before. His father, a Shinigami, had his life taken from him at the hands of the same Rukon mob that stole the lives of those ill fated Lieutenants. All that remained of his father was that cursed blade, which from then on belonged to Memnoch, in accordance of Shimazu family tradition. Before long, the weight of the Shimazu — their name, and place in history, all lied on him. Together, with this cursed heirloom blade of his, he’d forge a path through the Reijutsu Academy to become a Shinigami, like his father before him.
The Blade
Muragarasu, a cursed blade passed down from head to head of the Shimazu main family for as long as anyone can remember. As merely a Shinigami hopeful, Memnoch lacks the power necessary to release and utilize the blade or its abilities. Additionally, its abilities, at least its true ability, are a tightly kept secre and rightfully so. According to information passed from father to son from generation to generation, the blade imprisons an aspect of anyone slain by it within its steel, causing the individual to manifest as a member of the murder. It is said an aspect of each of its previous masters has also been imprisoned within the blade, a prospect that has earned the blade its less than favorable reputation among the heads of the Shimazu.

Sealed Zanpakuto: Muragarasu takes the form of a standard katana 34" in length with a slight arch. Its hilt is wrapped in silk dyed a deep violent, with a tsuba in the shape of raven's closed beak. At any given moment, the blade is sheathed in a pallid black scabbard, resting at Memnoch's hip. While in contact with the blade either directly or indirectly -- physically wielding the blade, or carrying it upon his person -- Memnoch can commune, command, or attune to the senses of his flock.

Gonna spend the 390 bringing Shunpo and Kido to Journeyman, and Zanpakuto and Zanjutsu both to basic. This leaves me with 0XP leftover.
