Only recently did Yuki wake up to the vastness of what life had to offer her. But opening up to other people is not easy to do when one does not trust the world, especially when that trust has been broken in the past. Her journey forward is slow and cautious, however putting forth the time and effort rewards her with the once out of reach gift of friendship! As she is apt to reminding herself: trust is earned.


Teaching Wolves New Tricks // Kido has always been a thorn in Yuki's side. Hoping to fix this she pays a visit to the Hatayama Estate where she meets Zenji. They enjoy tea, chat about their clans and their ideals, and learn that they share a few thoughts on the current state of the world. Yuki reassures Zenji that he is doing plenty of good in the world and he shouldn't beat himself up over the state of it. Ultimately because she trusted in the man Yuki for the first time in her life does manage to cast a spell as well!

To The Smallest Captors Goes The King! // While normally Yuki would conduct her hunting all on her lonesome today she has decided to bring along one of the heirs to the Baozhai Noble family, a young girl named Meili. The girl has bestowed a nickname upon Yuki, although the wolf unfortunately fails to do the same, still quite new at the whole friendship thing. Eventually they come across a tiny lizard Hollow stuck within a glass prison and decide to return to Seireitei with the creature, hoping that Watari can locate someone who might be able to study it, but it manages to escape.

Drunken Solutions // Strolling through the Rukongai and planning for the future uplifting of its inhabitants Yuki comes across a pair of Shinigami in a run down bar: Reika and Toji. The two instantly accept her as a friend and invite her in to share drinks with them. Although initially wary Yuki decides to trust in the two. This trust is rewarded with a night of drinking, feasting, bathing, and sharing their stories with one another as they forge a bond of friendship together.

The Assassin's Night Out // Somehow while patrolling on Earth Yuki comes into contact with a young Human woman named Azalea Algaliarept who looks remarkably similar to her. After Reika surprises her with a visit the two confront the Human who, as it turned out, was even more alike than Yuki originally realized as both had troubles making friends. Determined to assist Azalea in overcoming the very same obstacles in life that Yuki was attempting to overcome she decides to make friends with the Human. Together the three of them return to Azalea's place where they learn more about one another. By the end of the night the two Shinigami are sleeping over with their new friend, although not before Reika makes the heart warming statement that Yuki is family to her.

Way Of The Hoe // A promise was made to meet once more upon the makeshift arena seperating the Fifth and Sixth Division headquarters buildings. Hours had been spent drafting up a pass to conduct their fight and days were spent waiting for it, mostly out of respect for Nao and Zenji. Upon arrival Yuki finds the field torn up by Rei's hands. The two finally introduced themselves to one another and, instead of fighting, discussed their goals and dreams and hobbies. Ultimately Rei presents her with two conditions in order to fight: they become friends and their fight is conducted to the death. Without hesitation Yuki accepts his friendship. Then she tears up the pass she'd worked so hard to attain, deciding then and there that she valued their friendship over any fight they might have together. Rei reveals that he was working on a garden and Yuki decides to assist, hoping to foster better relations between the two divisions and to construct a monument to their newly forged friendship.

We left off with cero unconciousness, next step!
