Life has not been kind to Yuki. She was born into a dying clan of accursed Shinigami. Bullying during her youth took her eye and through her own failings resulted in the deaths of her parents. Unable to trust the world or herself Yuki spent decades living alone. The only things she had to look forward to were the thrill of the hunt and the brief moments during battle where she could let loose and be herself. However a series of battles ends up setting the wolf down a different path. Ultimately she begins to shift from fighting to sate her own urges towards fighting to help others, even at the risk of her own life. More importantly, she begins to open up to the idea that life isn't just about combat, that there are greater things to explore and experience with other people if she allows herself to place her trust in those people.


Cuttin' It Close // What started as a typical hunt ends up with a meeting between Yuki and a spiritually aware Human that she managed to save named Raph. Being the first spiritually sensitive Human that she has met Yuki proceeds to interrogate the man, only for the two of them to be attacked by a pair of intelligent Hollow! In her excitement to meet in battle against a pair of challenging foes Yuki ends up in a dangerous predicament, only to be saved by Raph as his spiritual powers awaken. With the two Hollows dispatched Yuki finishes her questioning and obtains notes from the man on other spiritual beings, including other Shinigami. Ultimately she departs on a good note, having met someone she could potentially work with in the future.

Sweet House // A Jigokucho is missing. For whatever reason it was decided that Yuki would be the one to retrieve it, something she argued unsuccessfully against as it was not a duty usually designated towards members of the Fifth. She ultimately locates her target and the man holding it, however he is unfortunately another spiritually aware and spiritually powerful Human. This one also turns out to be unhinged and attacks her, leading into an intense battle until they are interrupted by another Human, a womam powerful enough to knock both of them out within moments. When she next awakens Yuki finds the two of them strapped into chairs, poison and souls fed into their bodies via a series of tubes and needles. As it turned out the woman hunted and devoured souls of all sorts. With her power waning the woman departed long enough for Yuki to shut off her own poisons with her tail and to convince the Human to use his powers to free the two of them, although he only managed to free her by the time the woman had returned. Another intense battle unfolded, this time Yuki and the man she'd fought previously fighting together against the woman who had captured them. Yuki was unfortunately forced to dispatch of the woman, and once the battle was over the man finally introduced himself as Sol. As it turned out he too faced inner demons, a savage nature which led him to striking out at her in the first place. Understanding where he was coming from Yuki promised to return another day to help him and departed with one of his old scarfs.

Battle Arena Crackdown! // Looking to unwind Yuki ventures to a makeshift arena settled between the headquarters of the Fifth and Sixth divisions. There she meets a mute Shinigami with no weapon and a man from the Sixth Division who she nicknames Sixer. Following a little goading on her end and a bump from the mute Shinigami the Sixer ends up attacking Yuki with kido! A short though brutal battle is briefly interrupted by a woman from the First Division, whose name Yuki later learns is Nao Aoki, and a shinigami she has met before, a man named Zenji. Following the Sixer's rejection to her offer of a draw and some goading on his end Yuki reignites the battle with a charge, only to be halted and bound by Nao and Zenji. The Sixer takes his leave with the promise of concluding their fight in a week and Yuki speaks with the other two. She learns of a Human named Anatoly who attempted to enslave Nao and she learns of Nao's hesitation to take a higher rank within the First Division. Impressed with the woman's skill with her released Shikai and with her efficient paperwork duties Yuki encourages Nao to take a higher seat despite what her supervisors might think, or what titles they might hold. As she departs she promises to look into Anatoly and offers her assistance to the two during future patrols.

Something From The Otherside // Yuki is finally faced with the sort of battle she has been longing for! Hollow bait has been unleashed upon Karakura Town, and Yuki is the first Shinigami on the scene. After quickly dispatching of two Hollows she faces off against a much more powerful intelligent Hollow. The battle is swift and bloody, leaving Yuki with potentially debilitating wounds. The Shinigami named Watari shows up, as does the Sixer from her previous arena bout. As her wounds are tended to a Gillian arrives, and after Watari utilizes a unique kido to heal her wounds Yuki decides to act as a distraction, both in holding off for reinforcements to arrive and so that the Sixer might land a decisive blow. After an initial strike the Gillian unleashes a devestating cero upon the city, bringing destruction upon a good portion of it. Unable to rely upon hit and run tactics for the safety of the civilian population Yuki instead takes the more dangerous option, moving in to engage the massive Hollow in close quarters. She suffers many wounds on her deadly climb up to a better position. Finally within striking range of the Hollow's mask Yuki places her trust in the Sixer's abilities and throws herself into a counter attack against the Hollow's charging cero, culminating in a massive explosion which renders her unconscious.
