He is his own THEME SONG! ~ Slevin Release 1//XP 1

Release Description:
Slevin's initial release is simply shunko, oddly, its the exact opposite of quiet Slevin.  His release's element is sonic and makes sounds based on his movements.  Because of this, on beat sounds deal more damage, and off beat sounds deal less, as if he has to play music while actively fighting.  In his released state he is his own battle music.  When he takes damage the music will drop, high beats are hard attacks while small lower scale beats are quick attacks focused more on sustained than large bursts of damage.  His release is designed to negate armor and make himself extremely flashy, which is actually not what he wants to be.

Release Ability:
Slevin negates passive defenses by bypassing direct contact with sonic vibrations.  Blut, close range barriers and even heirro mean nothing to him at all because he's not attacking those, he's damaging internals.  It also legit has musical notes coming off Slevin's body.  As well as his own battle music!

The damage from Slevin's release is often unfelt.  However anyone near it will in fact feel the thrumming of the base throughout their entire body.  The closer to Slevin, the more potent it is.  Slevin can use the effective "Sonic Booms" as a defensive technique in combat.  Using waves of Reiryoku to slow even bladed weapons enough to make them less effective against Slevin.

The Story and Threads:
Slevin is not a good shinigami.  That's not because he doesn't try, its because he innately can't be.  He runs support and helps others only because direct combat against shinigami's favored enemy is completely worthless due to his phobia.  That and casting kido, which has a verbal component, is improbable for Slevin.  However, being at the academy for so long lead to a distinct knowledge in directed kido energies, but not kido itself.  So while he can essentially spend the energy to cast a spell, he can't cast one.

Instead, he just decided to use the energy on his own body.  It's more of a way to utilize things he had drilled into his mind after failing over and over again.  Slevin also figured out his most important point.  He previously didn't realize that it was possible to be useful, without fighting hollow.  As such, Slevin aims to specialize in combat for things like spiritual human threats, rogue shinigami, and anything else that isn't defended by hollow screams and insanity.

 He started by getting a generic mission to go to Earth to save a shinigami noble student that had gotten stuck there.  Which would have been fine if a hollow didn't show up and mess everything the hell up.  This was a formal introduction to Slevin's crippling fear of Hollow, and the begining of his track to become a shinigami that specializes in combat with other things.

The life of a Shinigami is not ever boring so Slevin, doing whatever he wanted, decided to go on his usual pickpocket spree under the guise of a Judicial shinigami just to say he could do it.  Slevin believes in skills, and likes testing his, even if they get him in the wrong place at the wrong time.  It made for a good grabbings as well, netting him Nao's Onyx Pearl Barrettes.

Slevin then got another mission to simply deliver information on Earth.   Where he ran into the first spiritual seeing human.  Though he was mostly just flailing around to find the shinigami, Slevin liked this guy for his cool clothes.  In fact he was so confused that the human could see him, he forgot to rob the guy blind!

This all culimated in Slevin training by himself and running into the Shinigami superhero.  He was now more focused on his drive to come up with something, really anything to rival shinigami zanpakutou, since he didn't have one.  The superhero gave Slevin quite a few Reiryoku tricks before Slevin left in a hurry to learn the rest of the skill in secret.
