Quincy Information
The Quincy are ghosts from the past, long since eradicated from the world, or so the Shinigami would believe. The Quincy are a group of mortal spiritualist who separate themselves from other more general mortal spiritually aware by a single thing: tradition. In their current state the Quincy are few in number and scattered across the world but far from gone. They exist typically in families that trace their lineage back scores of generations keeping their traditions alive passed down through these families.

While each family is unique in their views of the world and activity, some families may no longer be truly aware their blood contains this Quincy nature, their methods typically fall into orthodoxy.

A Quincy undergoes intense training both physical and training in order to become a full-fledged Quincy whose sacred mission is straight forward, the absolute destruction of all Hollows. Unlike Shinigami, Hollow's slain by a Quincy do not pass into the Soul Society but are destroyed utterly. This disruption to the natural order is what resulted in the Quincy's near destruction at the hands of the Shinigami over a millennia ago.

If any exceptions to this destruction exist, they are far and few between. The Quincy are hunters and their prey is the Hollow.

Hierarchy
The Quincy are spread out far enough that any hierarchy is specific to the houses in question. Some houses are tightly knit, forming smaller factions with some houses forced into supporting roles based on the potency of their family members to become powerful Quincy. Often a master-disciple relationship emerges, but some larger families break into more formal structures.

Rumours exist that there is a leader to all Quincy, but such a figure, if they even exist, is enigmatic at best. They have made no appearance over the many years of Quincy's slow rebuild. If they exist, few have any evidence of it.

Power
The Quincy begin play relatively inexperienced. After getting a few hunts under their belt and surviving some harrowing scrapes their first Spiritual Weapon Power will take shape when they pass a First Release request, a power unique in focus to each Quincy. From there they begin their work towards the true power of the Quincy, developing the power that defines their very nature, known as a Schrift upon completing a Second Release Request. The Schrift is both a letter and concept core to the nature of the Quincy as a hunter, and takes many shapes. Such power has gone unseen in the world for many years and if there is a power beyond it few if any living have seen it.

Skills
Reishi Manipulation - The ability to control and use Reishi in the atmosphere is the unique way that Quincy abilities function. In the most basic form, the Quincy spiritual weapon is formed once the Quincy learns how to manipulate Reishi. As they grow they become able to more easily dominate the Reishi of the world around them and become capable of more incredible things.
Archery - How capable the Quincy is of utilizing their spiritual weapon. While it need not be a bow, Quincy hold staunch tradition and typically utilize some form of a bow.
Ginto - This is the Quincy casting through the use of capsule like tools capable of various binding and destructive effects. As Quincy hone this skill, they typically focus on a more specific form of this Ginto to attain mastery.
Hirenyaku - A Quincy specific ability used to allow high-speed movement by utilizing a flow of Reishi to seemingly move instantaneously great distances.
Custom Skill - A custom skill that can be determined by the chooser.
