[Meili Yan Baozhai]

Blood. There was so much blood. At some point during the chaos of the last couple hours, the Gotei had instituted a lockdown of all of the Noble houses. During the lockdown, the 6 Divisions split up and tried to lay waste to the remaining Nobles, but the Baozhai wouldn't just lay down and die. Various bodies, both of Shinigami as well as Baozhai clan members lay strewn about the estate. However, Meili didn't have time to grieve. She had a plan.

Releasing a heavy grunt as she set Yuki Kameko down, she would call over one of the clan medics.

"She's hurt bad. I know we can't do much in our current state, but do what you can. And for the Soul King's sake, can someone get us a pair of Gigai!?"

Despite Meili's young age, she was already falling into the role of a leader, especially now that it was thrust upon her, as she was the de facto head.

The medic quickly approached, and upon seeing Yuki's nearly broken form, released a soft gasp before calling for aid and getting to work on healing the wolf noble's injuries using both Kaido as well as basic medical knowledge. It wasn't long before the wolf was covered in bandages, a good portion of their injuries at least closed up and made non-lethal.

"We've done all we can Mistress Meili, now it's up to her."

Meili gave a gentle nod towards the medic, her face showing the pains of her own injury, which to this point she had left alone.

"Good...thank you. Now that she's good...it's my turn."

She nearly fainted, but caught herself, the medic approaching Meili and laying the girl down. The medic quickly got to work, using their Kaido and bandages to close Meili's injury.

"Mistress, this wound will leave a scar...and it's such a shame too."

Meili gave a smile and a chuckle.

"I'm a warrior. A few scars won't look too out of place on me."

When she was finished getting bandaged up, Meili carefully stood up, before looking around. There were only a handful of Baozhai members present. The heads of each of the branch families were present, as were their direct guards. She gave a nod to each of them, knowing that they knew of their plans before turning her back to them. Having a member of the medic crew carry Yuki with them, she would lead the three of them to what appeared to be a blank wall, or at least what should have been a blank wall, but now it was splattered with blood.

Placing her palm upon the wall, Meili searched before finding the false panel. Upon putting pressure onto it, the wall opened up, revealing a room with a hidden Senkaimon. The Senkaimon had already been activated, as Meili had ordered ahead to send members of the Bingwen branch to the World of the Living, and now it was Meili and Yuki's turn.

Turning around, she would offer a smile to the Baozhai clan, who at this point were all bowing to her. Meili felt a tear streak down her face, as she had no idea if she would see any of these family members again. Wiping the tear away, she would offer a bow of her own, before straightening up and stepping through the Senkaimon, heading off to the World of the Living, to one of many Baozhai safe houses hidden there.
