Faustein prefers to keep his outfit as simple and practical as possible, though he does give in to occasional flights of fancy due to his flair for the dramatic. When at home, either alone or with guests, over the usual male undergarments, he always wears a simple t-shirt and shorts combo (both non-pink) while going barefoot most of the time. If pressed to put on footwear, then he usually prefers closed toed sandals or otherwise may use traditional geta shoes as well. When out in the city or otherwise just traveling somewhere, his outfit of choice is some light-colored, full-sleeved, hoodie shirt with a thin dark-colored fleece jacket over it with a simple pair of dark colored jeans (with a tactical utility belt suspending them) and sneakers below (all of this over usual male undergarments, and non-pink). Interestingly enough, this is one of the few times that he is willing to tie his hair into a high or low ponytail.
His work outfit is, of course, that of any other standard physician-scientist. Namely, over the usual male undergarments, he dons a formal light-colored, full-sleeved shirt with a red necktie and a typical white lab coat with multiple pockets over that while having formal dark colored pants (with a tactical utility belt suspending them) and patent leather shoes below. His hands are covered by disposable light-colored surgical gloves. His eyes are protected by durable protective goggles if he is in the lab, but if not, like in all the other abovementioned situations, he can be seen with his usual custom order Google Glasses on. This outfit is what he usually wears when moving about outside as well, both on his research trips and when taking on client requests, jobs, or missions.
When attending some formal occasion, like anybody else, over his male undergarments, he wears the usual formal attire with his being either a standard three-piece black suit ensemble with a white formal shirt, red necktie, dark colored formal pants (with a tactical utility belt suspending them), and his standard patent leather shoes, of course. Lastly, his winterwear consists of some light colored full-sleeved shirt with a 6’0” long red scarf which is wrapped loosely around his neck; a moderately thick, weather proof, Sherpa jacket over that while below he wears some simple pants (with a tactical utility belt suspending them) and a pair of shoes with good traction. This is also the outfit he tends to wear when called to be a T.A. at his alma mater. Obviously, as in all other occasions, under this outfit are his usual male undergarments as well. For other types of inclement weather or special situations such as the beach he uses the appropriate clothing for the situation.

Physique:
Faustein is 5' 7" tall, weighs 140 lb., and has a medium-heavy bone structure. His skin is very pale and maybe even somewhat sallow in appearance. Due to the constant traveling he does and the intermittent exposure to the elements as well as the various substances he deals with in his practice as a physician-scientist, his skin is also very coarse and dry to the touch. He has very thick, coarse, and dry hair which is mostly white at the base and middle, but melds into dark green towards the tips. He never bothers to keep it tamed due to his inherently lazy nature and also because it tends to get disheveled anyway over the course of his research. He has a generally ovoid head like any other regular human. He also has some distinctive facial features such as: gaunt cheeks with high-set cheekbones, a high and wide forehead, as well as thin, roughly almond shaped eyes with the usual round pupils and bright crimson red irides. The last of his distinctive facial features are his gently tapered chin and his somewhat strongly set, somewhat sharply defined jawline.
He has a slender, slightly longer than normal neck with a very prominent Adam's apple. His back and shoulders are broad and well developed with lean, well defined, clearly visible musculature due to his own basic physical conditioning and also because he often has to exert himself physically during his travels and research. All across his torso, both the front and back aspects, he has no more than an ounce of fat anywhere since he almost constantly forgets to maintain a proper meal schedule, especially when he is engrossed in one of his long-term research projects. His upper limbs are of average length and just like the rest of his body, they too possess lean, well defined musculature. Due to his medium-heavy set bone structure, his wrists are slightly larger than normal and his hands are also larger and more muscular than average too due to the near constant use in his various physical exertions. In contrast, however, his fingers are longer than average and have a rather skeletal look to them.
He has a narrow waist and hips, again due to the veritable lack of body fat, especially the abdominal type. Below, he has lower limbs which are longer than average and like the rest of him, his lower limbs also have not more than an ounce of fat anywhere. As a result, like everywhere else on him, his lower limb musculature is also clearly visible and well- defined, but also due to the effect of his physical exertions and specific training as well. Like his wrists, due to his medium heavy bone structure, his ankles are also slightly bigger than average as are his feet. However, like his fingers, his toes are also quite spindly in appearance. The rest of him is similarly well endowed due to the genetic gifts he has inherited from both sides of his family.

Extra:- Faustein’s eyes always have prominent dark circles beneath them because of the marked degree of sleep deprivation he suffers from due to the stress and demands of his practice as well as the effort he puts in to accomplish his never- ending research goals.
- His lips have a faintly noticeable, permanently cyanotic discoloration because his body is always somewhat oxygen deprived not only because of an inherent genetic defect, but also due to constant exposure to the various chemical substances which he tests on himself as part of his research.
- The most distinctive features of his neck and torso are the thick rope like tattoo which is seen around his neck, the two symmetrically diagonal healed suture lines on top of his inner eyebrows, and the large patch of mismatched skin bounded by two healed suture lines which lies diagonally across his torso, from top of his left shoulder to the bottom of his right hip.
- Unfortunately, like his neck and torso, the rest of him is also marred by innumerable healed scars, suture lines, and various other types of blemishes and imperfections which he has acquired over the long course of his ongoing research.

Spiritual Pressure Analysis:
Faustein’s spiritual pressure is an odd one as it can auto-calibrate itself instantly to match the general characteristics of that possessed by the average, unremarkable member of whatever species or race he encounters in any situation. That is to say; if he were to meet a Shinigami, or a Hollowbreed, or a Quincy, or a Special Human (Fullbringer or otherwise); then his reiatsu would change itself to match all of the characteristics of the reiatsu of an average and unremarkable Shinigami, or a Hollowbreed, or a Quincy, or a Spirit Human (Fullbringer or otherwise). Regardless of this, it will always be whitish-silver in color when expressed externally in any situation and has all the scents and sounds associated with cybernetics, machinery, and general hospital/medical environement.

Overall Personality:

Faustein is a stereotypical mad scientist in thought, word, and deed and his various personality traits apply as much in battle as they do outside it. Due to his insatiable curiosity, he pursues knowledge at any cost and views the whole world and everything in it, including himself not as individuals worthy of respect and care, but rather merely as guinea pigs to use in this eternal quest for knowledge. As if this were not bad enough, he blatantly disregards the personal rights of others (especially his specimens and/or research volunteers) and brooks no complaints from them, either about his research or the methodology therein. This already reprehensible aspect of him is exacerbated even further by his utter lack of inhibitions or qualms of any kind which could possibly regulate the methodology of his quest for knowledge. Due to the rigorous demands and high focus which his research and work as a physician-scientist requires, he is strictly objective almost all the time and can be moved to act only by the cold logic of a situation or by his desire for knowledge. In keeping with this strictly objective view, his face usually looks stern, distant, and inscrutably emotionless almost all the time.
That said, he is very protective of and is wholly invested in his research and so, he usually tends to be very reclusive and reticent about the exact nature of his research. He was also fairly paranoid in the past as he believed most people around him wish to restrict and oppress him. Nevertheless, this aspect has been lessened in more recent times due to the positive influence that others he has met have had on him. Still, his allegiance lies primarily with himself. His allegiance to everyone else, even if they should be from his own clan/family, is secondary to this. Furthermore, he has an incorrigible superiority complex towards others which often gets him into trouble with them since it makes him act in a condescending manner towards them. However, this is only towards those whom he is certain are less capable than himself. Despite this, he realizes that nothing and no one in the world is truly perfect. Actually, he abhors the concept of perfection and ridicules anyone and anything that claims to be perfect since to him, perfection is a completely stagnant state which cannot accommodate any further degrees of improvement. Additionally, he is highly manipulative of others and wherever and whenever he can, he will try to manipulate others around him, regardless of their affiliation to him or their nature, to do things he requires for him in his stead.
Apart from this there is also his uber tier hedonism which causes him to crave and try to acquire or experience all the finer things in life such as gourmet cuisine, vintage wines, expensive imported cars, etc. This is especially true since he has known it all the while from childhood till present day. So, he tends to enjoy these things to a great extent, but he is still rather uncomfortable when he has to deal with formal settings due to his introverted nature and his obliviousness to almost all common social mores. That said, this aspect has decreased somewhat in recent years due to external influences, so he is able to tolerate formal settings which usually include such high society life at the very least. However, he would attend such occasions really only to satiate his hedonism or if he is forced to attend by someone else superior to him.
To his credit though, despite having all of these defects, he does have some saving graces, though some may consider these to be a blessing and a curse simultaneously. The first of these is his determination which lets him persevere till the end in all his ventures, for better or worse. However, this is also a drawback since it does also cause him to have a rather stubborn mentality at the same time. As a result of this headstrong aspect, he can be quite intractable to any attempts to sway him toward any path other than the one he sees lying before him. Then, there is his objectivity of view and his ability to stay emotionally detached regardless of whatever may be going on around him. While this does help him keep a calm and clear mind in all but the most trying of situations, it also means he is utterly oblivious to the emotional needs of others. Besides this, he is quite passionate, driven, and focused when he is hooked and this give him the advantage of being able to avoid many common distractions which may otherwise impede his research. However, it can also be a negative thing because it does cause him to ignore everything else, like the basic everyday things like personal maintenance, for example.
In addition to this, he prefers to be as efficient as possible in thought, word, and deed and this is a boon since it allows him to delegate resources properly to where they are needed and saves time which he can then spend on other projects or studies, but it also makes him speak very bluntly since, to him, hiding the truth behind any kind of façade just to make it palatable to his audience is a waste of effort. Naturally, this tends to get him into trouble with others, especially those among his audience who may take issue with his lack of verbal filters. When confronted with most emotional issues, especially the issue of romance, his face tends to turn blank and clueless. Then, there is his tendency to warn people of potential dangers when he sees them coming, but if it is a specimen which intrigues him enough to want it, he has no qualms in lying and doing whatever he has to acquire said specimen, even though his actions may cost him and his allies a crucial victory or even if doing so would lead to massive casualties on his side. In a sense, one could say that he is ruthlessly cold in thought, word, and deed.
After that, there is his innovativeness as well as his cerebral and eccentric nature. His innovative side and his cerebral nature do give him the ability to solve most if not all the problems he may face, and allow him to thrive in just about any situation and resolve the challenges therein effectively and successfully by using whatever resources may be available to him in those situations, regardless of their grade or nature (i.e. whether they are high or low grade). However, they also give him that insatiable curiosity which causes him to want to take apart and analyze everything and everyone around him if they happen to intrigue him. This tendency to want to analyze everything when combined with his innately observant aspect of his nature leads him to lurk about observing everyone and everything around him in order to glean any valuable intelligence about them which he can put to some use or another and so, he can notice things most tend to overlook in their surroundings.
Besides this, there is the cautious aspect of his nature which he now has because he not only inherited it from his parents, but also trained steadily since childhood. This means he never even enters into an area or situation without researching it thorough through remote means, whether it’s by sending his minions and allies ahead of him, planting hidden surveillance devices on one of his purported allies and minions, or some other ways as well. He usually ensures that he at least has a handful of main action plans, a handful of backup plans to handle common contingencies, and escape plans for the worst-case scenarios. This cautious nature combined with his innately super tier curiosity causes him to use any and all situations he enters as a series of field tests for any new techniques or gadgets or anything else he is developing, with both him and any opponents/enemies acting as the guinea pigs. He tends to keep his distance from his opponents while gleaning information on them which he then puts to use to slowly but surely overwhelm them over the course of the confrontation.
Of course, if it means getting his hands on some exciting source of new or otherwise unfamiliar knowledge, this cautious aspect of him tends to take a backseat, though he will still try to maintain some modicum of it even when hunting said knowledge. Finally, there is his extreme, unbridled eccentricity which, though beneficial in that nobody who is willing to hang out with him would be assured of never getting bored and any potential enemies can never quite accurately predict his next move, can also be quite the obstacle in his interpersonal relationships since he is not only highly unconventional and prone to doing things which others find rather disconcerting, but also because it makes him a very difficult subordinate since any authority figures tend to have trouble accepting his highly whimsical behavior.
This eccentricity extends to his practice as a physician-scientist and when combined with his amoral outlook, means he usually employs highly unorthodox treatment methods. These may come with some unsavory side-effects as well for any patient that puts themselves in his care even though they are undoubtedly efficacious. The last effect of this eccentricity is that he occasionally tends to behave in a very uncharacteristic way, which may surprise others around him (e.g. making esoteric puns and references, trying to fluff some particularly fluffy creature or entity when they least expect it, uttering a maniacal laugh like some stereotypical supervillain/ mad scientist when one of his research projects comes to fruition, displaying a disturbingly high level of excitement when encountering sophisticated technology or anything completely unfamiliar to him, and making impromptu and unorthodox changes to battle plans while still in battle.)

He loves knowledge and power above all else since they not only bring him pleasure, but also because they allow him to steadily and relentlessly acquire even more of the same.

He loves being a mad physician-scientist/deranged medical ninja since it allows him to transcend the boundaries of normal research and truly explore all the mysteries in the world and universe around him which, in turn, brings him great pleasure.

He loves to acquire these types of test subjects most since they would actually withstand the rigors of his extreme mad science research and development and thus aid in its progress.
Foxes, Cats, and Owls, and other Fluffy Critters:
He loves foxes, cats, and owls since they not only symbolize intelligence and cunning, but also possess a mysterious aura about them (and also because they are fluffy). He also has an extreme liking for any other such fluffy critters which borders on obsession.
This is because it is one of the few things in the world that brings him true pleasure. Beastfolk or other such entities with these characteristics are also potential targets for this fluffing obsession.

Overarching History

“Faustein’s” story begins with that of his parents, his father being a man named “Siegfried Faustein” and his mother being a woman named “Izanami Kuroyakushi”, both of whom were Non-Quincy type Special Humans. “Siegfried” hailed from a long line of Non-Quincy type Special Humans who were known from ancient times to be skilled engineers, architects, and other such technologically oriented professionals, both in the mundane realm and the supernatural ones. Meanwhile, “Izanami” was the scion of an equally long line of Non-Quincy type Special Humans all of whom were legends for their skills in the healing arts, whether that be mundane or spiritual in nature. They had met during a scientific information exchange conference and symposium in the U.S. and so became entangled with each other. Initially, they hated each other’s guts, but eventually they did warm up to each other. Their respective families noticed this, and after a thorough cross examination of each other, decided to unite them in a sort of political marriage which was intended to be a stepping stone toward a future where the two sides would be allied with each other and be sharing their respective stores of knowledge, resources, and so on with each other for the purposes of advancing their fame, wealth, and influence in society. After their union, “Siegfried” and “Izanami” settled down in “Siegfried’s” hometown of Boston, Massachusetts.
Once everything was in order, they then set about establishing the U.S. branch of the alliance between their respective sides and the associated U.S. branch of the business conglomerate owned by “Izanami’s” parents and clan. Just as it was with the parent keiretsu, this branch was also called the "Kuroyakushi Group" in accordance with the combined wishes of the elders of both sides. Once that was finished, they started their private practice as a physician-scientist couple and also started up a line of associated research labs which were designed to conduct mundane research as well as explore more supernaturally inclined topics, and both of these ventures eventually became quite famous throughout the U.S.
Then, in 1990 A.D., they brought “Faustein” into the world and since he was the only child of these two current heirs to the sides, the elders agreed to make him the next heir to the future leadership position of the alliance as well as of the two respective sides and to the next CEO position of the business group. His childhood during the 1990s started off being fairly normal, and thanks to his excellent genetic heritage, he showed great promise right from childhood, especially in his scientific and mathematical aptitude, and business acumen as well as in his high IQ, which was clocked at 200+ points. In addition to that, he also showed a startlingly great aptitude for not only the family’s paternal side’s unique technomancy themed spirit arts, but also for the family’s maternal side’s medicosurgical type spirit arts. However, along with this, he demonstrated a rather unnerving ignorance of common ethics and morality as he delved into his early attempts at scientific inquiry in which he would conduct rather disturbing experiments on a variety of specimens ranging from insects, to reptiles, to birds, and even mammals. The fact that was so disturbing about this was that his face and body language displayed the same childlike wonderment, enthusiasm, and curiosity which were clearly seen during his more “acceptable” studies. Naturally, his parents squelched these darkly scientific experiments whenever possible.
However, their efforts to force him to stop had no effect on him whatsoever and actually only served to intensify his drive towards this dark side. So, instead, his parents decided to bring him onto the fast track of academia, not only to prepare him for capitalizing on that aptitude for business, science, and mathematics, but also to permanently bury and seal away this dark side of his curiosity. They planned to do this mainly by trying to enter him in rigorous private tutoring sessions dealing with the beginner level knowledge in business strategy, various science disciplines (especially the biological and the technologically oriented), and mathematics as well as in the spirit arts of both sides of the family. However, much to their surprise, he stubbornly resisted their efforts to fit him into their envisioned mold since he wanted to enjoy his childhood like other regular kids. Realizing that they wouldn’t be able to convince him to reconsider, his parents decided to let him do as he pleased instead for they were confident in the fact that, sooner or later, he would learn about the dark side to the world around him, and would come back to them so that they could enact their original plan for him.
In the meantime from then till 2002 A.D., he did enjoy doing the things that other kids normally did for quite a while, and whenever they had time and he had a considerable amount of vacation time, his parents took him on camping trips in various locales in the U.S, usually during the summer. They did this not only to be able to spend time bonding as a family, but also for the purposes of teaching him basic outdoor survival skills so that he wouldn’t be without recourse should he ever need them at any point in the future. During these outings, they also instructed him further and further in the theory and practical application of the spirit arts wielded by each side of the family. In this manner, time marched on for them until finally he came to high school and became a teenager. It was during these years, specifically in the year 2002 A.D., that he became acquainted with the darker side of those whom he had considered his friends up until then. There had been a series of events during his sophomore year of high school which led him to realize that the people he had considered to be his friends till then had been just exploiting his talents for their own benefit.
It was then that he understood that they had never considered him as their friend, but rather were just putting up the façade of friendship to hide their ulterior motives. Needless to say, he was quite broken up about this, but instead of taking revenge or anything edgy like that, he cut them off unceremoniously without giving them any preamble or warning. Not only did he cut them off, but he also vowed to himself that he would never bother with anything cheesy like emotions, friends, or even a social life ever again. Instead, he threw himself almost entirely into his studies from then on and to this end, he accepted his parents’ proposition of fast tracking him into the business, science (especially computer engineering), and mathematics realms of knowledge through private tutoring. This steadily developed his knowledge bank over the course of this time period. Additionally, he was also taught the various aspects of high society life during this time since his parents wanted him to be familiar with such sophistication. That said, he did have his craving for watching anime and reading a variety of manga, so he tried to stay in touch with them by watching as many anime and reading as many manga as possible whenever he needed a break from his studies. Furthermore, he also did indulge his interest in strategy and war games, mainly through playing offline solo player versions of games like Age of Empires and the Civilization series.
This helped him in two ways: the first was by offering him pure relaxation and the second since it let him pick up basic strategic and tactical skills. Whenever he was not involved in all of these, his schedule would be occupied by intensive training under his parent’s tutelage, the topic being further instruction in the spirit arts of both sides of the family. Thus, his high school years came to an end and he finally graduated with honors due to all the effort he had placed into completing his studies in the year 2004 A.D. During these last two years, however, something else was born inside him too. This was the borderline deranged obsession with the quest for knowledge which would remain with him lifelong. This obsession only grew stronger once he had gotten admission to Harvard U. for the usual liberal arts and sciences themed, Western style undergrad college education, to the point it reawakened the dark side of his scientific curiosity about various phenomena and beings in the world which had been suppressed till now due to his parents keeping him busy. Nevertheless, his entry into his college life went off well enough and he started to distinguish himself right from the first year (which, in his case at least, was a fusion of the standard two years, aka freshman and sophomore years of collegiate education into a single year) since his focus was almost entirely on his studies.
Since he made a point of avoiding having a social life throughout this time, his freshman year was fairly uneventful besides the excitement he got from being involved in basic science research as part of his biology major curriculum. The only other eventful expenditure of time which was a source of great joy for him was the secret, under the radar, unethical and oftentimes even illegal, mad science research that he started to become involved in with the help of some of the more accommodating of the faculty. During the first year’s summer vacation and other suitably long holidays he was granted by the university, he and his parents would travel to a variety of wilderness areas all over the U.S. and during this time, he was not only taught further in the use of the two schools of spirit arts wielded by each side of the family, but also had the chance to put his outdoor survival skills to the test regularly. To this list, he also added basic knowledge of MMA skills.
He started learning from his mother who was quite proficient in it from having been born to parents who ran a mixed martial arts dojo in their free time back in Japan. Of course, during this time, when he was not busy advancing his knowledge of the sciences, mathematics or in his family’s twin schools of spirit arts; he was kept busy with more and more advanced lessons in business strategy and other related aspects of that realm of expertise as well such as high society life, though he was never comfortable in the latter situations due to his distaste for formality. However, he was made to go through it anyway, so he really had no other recourse but to silently endure it. So, he was able to build up some tolerance for it by the end. Thus, the first of the two years that he spent in his undergrad education at Harvard came to an end.
Then came the second of the two years that he spent at Harvard doing his undergrad, though as it was with his first year, his second year was a specially allowed fusion of the junior and senior year academic curriculum series into a single year’s worth of material. It was during this time that he declared his concentrations which were specifically chosen to help both with a future career as a physician-scientist and also with his predestined future takeover as the next heir and CEO of the Kuroyakushi Group. Along with these, since there was a high-level humanities program at Harvard, he was able to make a bit more progress in his knowledge and skills in general linguistics and other humanities disciplines too which he had started taking in his first year like most of his peers. Needless to say, due to his choice of an accelerated curriculum and timeline, he was kept remarkably busy throughout this second year of his undergrad education as well. Thankfully, however, he was not only able to complete his day to day scholastic assignments and tests, but also continued his involvement in basic science research under the guidance of his professors due to his superlative personal time management ability. Along with this, he started to delve even further into the dark side of his scientific inquiry in the mad science research he was conducting away from the public eye under the auspices of the more eccentric and morally flexible of his professors.
In this manner, his second and final undergrad collegiate year also went by with him luckily still being able to indulge his obsession with offline solo player war and strategy PC games as well as traditional strategic board games occasionally whenever he was not busy with his research projects or his regular coursework. As always, when he returned home during the holidays, he was able to spend time with his parents going on camping trips when feasible, or working on his instruction in business strategy, scientific and mathematical aptitude training, and so on. When not doing either of the above, he kept progressing ever farther in his practice of MMA, although it was still fairly basic because he couldn’t spend as much time on it as he used to before due to his now increased academic responsibilities.
Of course, regardless of how busy he was with all of these other aspects of his growth, he was still put through rigorous testing and instruction in his family’s twin schools of spirit arts. Apart from this, as a result of focusing more on his studies and also on the basic science research he was involved in, he was able to get a high GPA and eventually graduated again, this time from Harvard, with top honors in 2006 A.D. After his graduation, for the next three years, he took some time to enlist in a long-term shadowing program. This was done in an attempt to narrow down his preferences for possible future careers in the healthcare sector.
When he was not busy with this, he was made to accompany his parents whenever they had various business meetings with the leaders of other companies or with the “Kuroyakushi Group's” Board of Directors so that he could gain valuable, practical experience in the field. Apart from this, he also accompanied and assisted his parents at their clinic whenever there was time in his hectic schedule. Aside from this, during these three years, he immersed himself ever further in the pursuit of the dark side of his scientific curiosity by indulging his mad science research and experimentation, and with every topic, his experimental methods grew more and more disturbing and unnerving as it now involved mammals and even living and dead humans whenever possible, which of course eventually led to the discovery of this dark secret of his by his parents in 2009 A.D. Unfortunately, for him, this happened just as he was about to conclude this autodidactic course of study.
As would be expected, his parents who were both well respected in the scientific and medical communities for their integrity and moral rectitude, were understandably horrified at this discovery of the full blossoming of the early version of the dark side to their son’s scientific curiosity. Consequently, they took him into custody, but not without a long, desperate struggle. Then, they shipped him off to Tokyo, Japan which was the abode of his maternal grandparents who were famous for their spartan attitude toward and zero tolerance for moral decadence of any sort and who were equally revered for having reformed several individuals from their vices. This was meant as a punishment for him, but in his case, due to the long obsession he had till then with anime, manga, and other such Japanese pop culture icons and other elements, it was a blessing. Or it would have been, if it were not for the fact that he was immediately taken in by his mother’s parents and the rest of their clan. So, he didn’t have to worry about lodging or any other basic necessities. In exchange, however, he had to endure lecture upon lecture regarding the various companies that formed the Kuroyakushi Group led by his maternal grandparents and even attend business meetings to introduce him to the group's main Board of Directors and the rest of the employees as well. As if that were not sufficient, He also had to endure several tests of his business acumen and general force of personality and sit through even more boring and even longer lectures from his grandparents about ethics and morality and the importance of abiding by them whenever he was not being forced to go to these meetings. The only upside to this was that he was taught even further in the more nuanced uses of his family’s twin schools of spirit arts.
This arduous ordeal of his lasted for about one year after his arrival in Tokyo, Japan. However, throughout this time, all of the torment he endured only served to intensify the dark side of his scientific curiosity which had been forcefully suppressed by his maternal grandparents through this reformation attempt they had put him through, to the point that it was about to burst right through this psychological dam. That was exactly what happened in the following year, aka 2010 A.D. wherein his maternal grandparents gave up on him in an unprecedented move as they had realized that they were never going to be able to reform him and thus, left him to his own devices. After that, he applied for and got admission into Tokyo U. where he started to pursue an M.D./Ph.D. program as well as advanced technologically oriented formal studies. This lasted for the next three years. During this time, like before, he eschewed all forms of social life and threw himself into his studies with an almost demonic obsession.
The only other thing he involved himself in was the renaissance of his mad science research, the urges for which had come back in full force and had taken a permanent hold of him since their resurgence. Thanks to the help of some of the more eccentric and morally flexible of his professors and his own precautions, he was not caught this time as he had learned from his mistakes and oversights earlier and improved the covert nature of his work. Throughout all of this, he was also continuing the development of his skills in the use and manipulation of his family’s twin schools of spirit arts.
Finally, once again, he graduated with top honors and this time it was from Tokyo U. in 2013 A.D. After this, from 2014 A.D. to 2017 A.D., he embarked on a lengthy, globetrotting research trip the goal of which was to apply all of the knowledge he had gleaned from his studies and his mad science research thus far, both in terms of his skills as a physician-scientist as well as the practical testing of the level of skill and depth of knowledge he had in his family’s twin schools of spirit arts. During this three-year research expedition, he also ran across a variety of members who hailed from the various spiritually inclined races in the world, namely some Shinigami, some Quincy, some Hollowbreed, and even other Special Humans. Among these other Special Humans, there were Fullbringers, Bounts, and even regular human Spiritualists as well as some other sub-types. Therefore, he was endlessly fascinated with and even had the chance to capture some and subject them to his mad science research and experimentation over this period of time. Of course, he made sure to do it in such a manner that the leadership of these races did not find out about his work.
As a result of this research, he was able to take the skills and techniques he had through his family’s twin schools of spirit arts and contemplate new, future directions in which to evolve them and this was how he spent his time till the end of his research trip in 2018 A.D. Then, he came back to Tokyo, Japan and since he had heard rumors of a certain part of Tokyo called Karakura Town and how it was especially famous for having a high level of spirit activity and appearance of the various spirit beings in it, he set down roots there and established his main base of operations with the intention of remaining there henceforth. After about a year, in 2019 A.D., he started his current practice as a professional physician-scientist and also applied for formal Japanese citizenship after which he carried on his secret mad science research as well as his publicly known practice as a physician-scientist while awaiting the decision from the government. Of course, he had pulled some strings to apply leverage for expediting this process of citizenship bestowal.
Needless to say, during this time, he also made sure to continue the development of his family’s twin schools of spirit arts with the aim of making them combat ready and practically useful. Thankfully, he did not have to wait too long, for in the year 2020 A.D., the Japanese government finally relented and granted him his Japanese citizenship. From here, it remains to be seen as to what future adventures and encounters his life will throw in his path, but the journey will certainly be an interesting one.

Faustein’s power is a bipartite one composed of two disparate elements (which can be hybridized during release states). The first element is called “Medicosurgical Magic” and this bestows upon him the capacity for using his reiryoku to manifest supernaturally inclined medicine/medical applications and feats such as medicine creation, blood clotting/transfusions, organ transplants, supernatural surgery, bone setting, disinfection, biopsies/cell culturing, stitching, immuno-suppression, wound cautery, and even medicosurgical necromancy at the highest levels to various degrees. Needless to say, he is capable to applying this magic to treat more mundane conditions as well. This magic also encompasses the opposite of these supernatural healing arts, that is to say, he can apply the basic principles of these same healing procedures in destructive ways to debilitate his opponent(s) and enemies by cutting through tendons, muscles, and ligaments, by injecting them with a variety of pathogenic agents (both biological and not), by disrupting their sensory receptors, cross-wiring their nervous systems to interfere with movement capacity, and other such methods at the highest levels depending on the needs of the situation.
The second element is called “Technomancy” and this part allows him to use his Reiryoku to create, shape and manipulate technology and technological constructs, computers, robots, hardware and other devices that contain any form of electronic components and/or some manner of ferrous/metallic elements. This part of his overall powerset is manifested as a special form of electro-telekinetic manipulation, which allows physical interaction with machines. He can employ this ability to guide his reiryoku in order to control the flow of anything from simple to intricate modern machinery, and assemble or disengage their programming and parts at will as well as operate such technology at distance. He can even control specific electrons flowing through the circuitry of such technology and instruct them on which components to engage or disengage and may be able to use the electric impulses to gently control smaller metal parts. He can even create mental interfaces with and manifest as well as manipulate data in different systems various ways at the highest levels based on the demands of the situation.

Two powers for the price of one raises my brows as does a lot of hyper genius stuff, but, so long as you make sure to balance that out with your threads and thread partners you'll do fine! Keep in mind, this is the start of the journey not the end!
