The Glaives [Organization]

Long ago when kings and queens of the Quincy were at their prime they gathered the noblest of knights to defend them from threats. The Glaives creation was approximately 533 years ago when there were few elite knights to train the newer generation of super soldiers in the new era and the Royal family having the best of the best to serve them and keep hidden their most valuable treasures: the Quincy Artifacts and texts. Only twelve people could acquire the noble Glaives title and there was only one commander to lead them all; a few rare cases of captains becoming the right hand of the Monarchy.

It was during the earliest days of the modern Quincy, shortly after their massacre by the villainous shinigami, that the Wagner family knew that something had to be done. Under the nose and radar of the shinigami, the Wagners began to gather other Quincy families to their banner, whether force or by political marriages. It was an obvious choice, they said, to gather some of the smaller clans to them. Shortly after gathering them, the king chose a representative from twelve of the clans that they’d acquired and explained that they would be the sword of the Quincy, deployed when needed, and otherwise guarding the royal family and, by extension, the rest of mankind.

Though some protested or exclaimed that they’d been lured here under false pretenses, Wagner explained that the whole of the Quincy was at the edge of a knife. With this, they and their families would be protected and they, the Quincy, could be the protectors of mankind without having to worry about the shinigami killing them all. It was a tricky plan, difficult to execute, but if done appropriately, then the Quincy would continue operating to their full effect around the world. While the plan did have some bumpy patches, the Wagner family managed to successfully create their secret soldiers. And so the tale of the Quincy would continue to march on...

Resources: One of the greatest secrets of the Glaives is that, despite their compound acting as their homebase, they also have safehouses in London, Beijing, Tokyo, and even New York City. It is in such cities that, should they need to, they can restock and resupply with Seele schneider, ginto, or whatever other kinds of equipment that they might need. These safehouses tend to be in quite conspicuous locations, oftentimes either nightclubs or a hotel room from where they can replenish and rest.

Other than the safehouses, there are also allies of Quincy that Wagner has had over the continuation of their reign. The many different allies include many spiritually aware humans that dislike what the shinigami did to the Quincy intently. These allies often only own houses or smaller venues that they can put up Quincy for a little bit of time and often provide first aid or food. For these allies, though, they’re only able to have a place for the Quincy for a day or two and every current member of the Glaives has orders to leave such places after a few days.

Finally, there’s the Wagner compound; it is in this area that the members of the Glaives have personal beds and rooms, places to train, and even to study on various matters. The main hall will have food prepared whenever a Glaive or the others are called in from various missions or in preparation for a mission, but as a whole, they try not to gather in one place for too long. The War Room is used in only dire circumstances when there’s a big mission or when going over movements for various hollows or powerful shinigami.
