Eye Color: Kokuou possesses a set of green eyes, although sometimes they appear to have a sickly yellowish tinge to them.
Height: Years of illness have stunted his growth leaving him sadly at only 4’10.
Weight: 85lbs
Hair Color and Style: just your basic black hair cut short to stay out of the way.
Clothing and Accessories: Prolonged time in a hospital lead Kokuou to usually wear comfortable clothing over stylish clothing, but on the few times that he was released he would often wear a hooded jacket and his leather jacket overtop of that. Still he wears whatever he thinks is nice looking or comfortable. He wears a medical ID bracelet around one wrist.
Generalized Appearance: baring the pale skin of a person who has never gotten much sunlight, one cannot help but think Kokuou has a bit of a sickly look to him.
Spiritual Pressure Analysis: Kokuou's Reiatsu signature has a sickly yellow green aura flecked and streaked with black throughout it that coils around him like some sort of infectious fog. Animals instinctively stay away from him for the most part, either running in fear or attempting to attack him due to this. The signature feels rather similar to that of a hollow at first glance as well causing some trouble due to that as well. However the same effect that causes animals to hate him or to feel similar to a hollow does have some benefit, the Aura feels so sickly and disgusting that he tastes absolutely horrible to them.

Overall Personality: An utter mess. A quiet child who was expecting to die suddenly given a new lease on life. Untrusting of some people due to being discarded, he is learning to return to society and the rest of things
Positive Traits:
Logical - can remain logical not letting his emotions overrule his thinking
adaptive - he is willing to change and adapt in response to circumstances he faces
determined - his will is strong enough that he can deal with great pain and suffering to see things through.
independent -being cast aside has taught him how to take care of himself
pragmatic -sensible realistic and practical
Negative Traits:
dispassionate -remaining rational and impartial can sometimes be too much
Fatalistic - all things die, he is just a step closer than most. Can be a bit morbid
Morally ambiguous - the problem with being too pragmatic and logical
Loner - being too independent, abandoned and left alone to die, has shaped him into being this
Loyalties: Why would he? He has spent most of his life in a hospital. He doesn’t really have any strong loyalties to any organization or group.
Goals: Not dying?
Habits: Sometimes he fears that he is crazy and all of this is a hallucination generated by his brain and the drugs he has been pumped full of as he lay dying in a hospital bed leading to bad dreams and nightmares.. After being forced to spend long periods of time in bed he picked up a habit of reading, not just medical books to kind of understand his condition better, but fantasy books to distract the mind.Tales of mythology and magic, of daoist cultivators seeking immortality and the cultivation that they would do. This led to him practicing meditation techniques, understanding the body even more, an interest in sword techniques and martial arts, although his body was in no condition to perform either. The medical staff humored him for the most part, helping him learn a few techniques that they considered was good for his health, be it the meditation, or a bit of physical therapy and tai chi to prevent the body from atrophying further.

2010 - gets in a bad accident, initial discovery of a mysterious illness.
2012 - hospitalized full time.
2019 - Began experimental drug treatment.
2020 - current day.
Overarching History
Kokuou was born in the year 2000, and grew up in a moderately wealthy household without much worry until the age of Ten. It was then that he got into a really bad accident, an event that he barely remembered, although the biggest reminder was the massive discolored scar on his chest. A nasty mark that kinda looked like a massive handprint, only further distorted by following surgeries and medical procedures.
Eventually Kokuou recovered from the accident and was meant to go on with his life, only for more tragedy to follow. During one of the medical checkups following his recovery the doctors noticed some peculiar masses within his body, something new and unidentified, a new disease that soon ravaged the young child’s body. By the age of 12 he was suck in the hospital almost full time with medical tests and samples, the fear of contamination and spreading isolating him from his friends and family, even after tests showed that it wasn’t something easily spreadable to other people.
The following years were a blur, the same old routine day after day, month after month. Self study and books were his main sources of entertainment. No childhood friends or schoolmates visited as their parents ‘didn’t want their children catching whatever that boy had’. His family disowned and discarded him as a waste of resources, a forgotten child thought dead already by a majority of family members. Only a few hospital staff took any interest beyond the professional, most only interested in the disease from a medical standpoint.
The last two years left him wasting away, already diagnosed as terminal with only a year, maybe two at the very most left to live. It was then he met a person who claimed to be a ‘doctor’. One who suggested a series of radical ‘experimental treatments’ to help combat the disease. Most of the doctors considered it nothing more than chinese folk medicine level tricks. No guarantees were made, not even that the drug treatment wouldn’t just end with him outright dying early. However ultimately Kokuou agreed with the treatment, one last attempt to grasp control of his life, and his destiny.
