Zenji Hatayama, Master of the Mystical

Hey yo! Decided to make a separate plotter for my Shinigami considering how much I've been focusing on him.

Zenji is a minor noble of the Soul Society and a currently unseated Shinigami of the First Division. He has spent the last Century as Head of his Clan and a Shinigami while sitting out the usual politics played by his peers. Very passive, and slow to making decisions, he spent most of his Soul Reaper career as an unenthusiastic paper pushing administrator which eventually got him shifted out of the Third to the First without his input. About the only thing that gets Zenji invested in studying the Demon Arts and other Mystical Studies.

The Hatayama Clan which he rules are nobles who appear more like monks than anything else. Their Estate is open to the public within which is a Shrine to the Soul King and the Principles of Balance while their are beautiful tranquil Gardens. However their true claim to fame is their ancient library which contains texts older than the Soul Society itself. The majority of this archive is said to be Mystical Scrolls, Tomes and modern papers. Rumours even say they have access to forbidden knowledge although this has always been denied.
The Clan is also unusual in that the Branch Family adopts potent Rukongai Souls to become part of the family to act as Hand Maidens and Monks to whom they teach very basic versions of Kido arts for their duties.


His rough current plans is that:

• Arc #1 - Getting knocked out of his passive lifestyle and forced to enter noble society and, eventually, realising he needs to start training and be a proper Soul Reaper.
  
• Arc #2 - Actually showing his purposeful steps to become a proper Shinigami
  
• Arc #3 - ???

• Happy to meet Human Spiritualists, his first meeting with one was something that made him well disposed towards them
  
• Quincy are a tough one. As Humans he doesn't want to hurt them but he can't allow them to disrupt the Balance so it's a tough sell.
  
• 9/10 times this is going to be a fight. Pretty much all his fights so far he has not done well in so I'm used to being a punching bag with Zenji! It'd take a pretty spectacular idea to get Zenji to actually speak to a Hollow.
