Her hair is quite long and flows down to the bottom of her back, it is mostly kept in a half up half down style. While still keeping her feminine shape her arms and legs are lightly toned due to her physical training.
Spiritual Pressure Analysis: Similar to other Quincy, Jessica’s reiryoku is a pale blue colour and has a slight scent of lavender. It always seems to spiral closely around her body, only flashing out of its usual smoothness when she becomes flustered.
Overall Personality: Jessica has a great pride in the Quincy and even herself for being born into such a majestic race. Due to Jessica’s relatively secluded upbringing she has not had many chances to socialise with people other than her family, this caused her to lack any sort of confidence when she eventually did start interacting with those outside her familial circle. However this also means that she knows only a little of the world and wants to learn as much as she can and asks as many questions as she can think of, often to the annoyance of the poor soul she’s asking.
Jessica enjoys all things pretty and girly, often getting distracted and completely sidetracked when she spots anything she deems to be adorable.

Overarching History
Jessica was born in County Sligo, Ireland to Quincy Sarah and Adam O’Donovan. From a young age her parents taught Jessica about the history and traditions of the Quincy race. Jessica took great delight in these lessons and grew to love her race and couldn’t wait for her powers to manifest.
Jessica’s powers awoke at the age of 11. The day she discovered her abilities was a great joy for both her and her parents and she began her training the following day. At first she found all of the lessons difficult but she did her best, trying to become a Quincy her parents could be proud of. As her lessons went on she found that she had an affinity towards Ginto and weaving reiryoku, but struggled severely with summoning and controlling a spirit weapon. This resulted in her spending more of her time honing her casting abilities and a little less time on using the weird rectangle she had as a weapon.
After several years of training Jessica had decided that rather than using her spirit weapon as her main form of attack, like usual Quincy, she was going to use her Ginto spells as she was quite proficient at them now, more so than any other skill she possessed. At first she didn’t see any problem with this but quickly realised that in sparring matches and actual combat she could only use as many spells as Ginto tubes she could carry, and even though as she did carry quite a lot at all times, she needed a backup skill to fall back on if a fight lasted too long. Unfortunately her mastery of her spirit rectangle was still limited and so began to learn to fight with her bare hands, these were weapons that would never run out. After learning the basics of hand to hand combat, she began going out on patrols with her parents.
Jessica and her parents were hunting a Hollow that had been evading them recently. They had managed to injure it the day before, but it still managed to escape the trio. However when it had returned today its injury hadn’t fully healed yet and was slow enough for them to track it outside of town. The family approached a cave that the beast had seemed to make its lair and her parents told Jessica to keep a lookout at the entrance to make sure nothing could follow them in and trap them. After a few minutes passed Jessica heard the Hollow’s dieing roar and a smile crossed her lips as her sense of pride as a Quincy welled up in her chest. But that feeling was swiftly replaced with another as a low rumble came from the cave and the ground shook as the cave collapsed in on itself.
The young girl just stared into the cave entrance and waited with baited breath, praying to see her parents running from the collapsing roof. No such sight came. Once the rumbling had stopped, she slowly stepped towards the cave calling out to her parents. She pulled out her cell phone and dialled the emergency services and told them what happened, sobbing the whole time. Tears were streaming down her face and she was on her knees by the time help arrived. As the teams dug out the rubble of the cave, all she could do was sob and hope. But as time passed her hope steadily faded until the moment someone shouted they had found some bodies. Bodies, not people. The tiny amount of hope that still remained vanished as she watched the helpers pull her parents bodies from the rubble.
After the both the funeral and wake had passed, Jessica was at the family’s lawyer’s office getting all the paperwork signed. The lawyer handed her a small package and told her it was from her parents, to be given to her if they died. Once she returned home, Jessica opened the package. It contained several pieces of paper, all handwritten and clearly many years old. It was a simple letter telling her that everything would turn out ok and she will survive without them. It also told her to go to their relatives for help with her training. At the end of the letter they wished her well and said that they would always watch over her. As she finished reading she burst out crying and hugged the letter to her chest.
It took several weeks for Jessica to finally pack up and go to her cousins and ask for their help. Being as close a family as they were, they happily agreed to help and she started to apprentice under her cousin Michael.

Reishi Cross: Jessica’s cross was made by her mother and gifted to her when her powers first awakened. It takes the form of a pendant hanging from a thin silver chain around her neck. It has some vines that surround the limbs and a large red gem in the centre.
Reishi Weapon: Unlike other Quincy who get bows as their weapons, Jessica’s weapon is a rectangular block about 12 inches by 6 inches by 1 inch. It is not a solid rectangle, just a vague shape as the reishi that makes it seems to be constantly dissolving away without it actually shrinking. When she presses her fingers to its surface and then flick them a heilig pfeil is fired in that direction. Jessica does not know why her weapon has taken such a bizarre shape.
